Job description

  • Design, implement, deploy, maintain, enhance and stay abreast of the latest complex software solutions that improve the developer workflow, code quality, and release velocity.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of projects, making key architectural and technical decisions to scale the build and release infra and ship XR software updates to the external partners/end users.
  • Define and track metrics to measure the impact of tools and process improvements on developer productivity and system health, increasingly leveraging AI/ML.
  • Develop and integrate AI-powered features into developer tools to assist with code generation, code review, test generation, bug detection/triaging, and more.
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and drive the adoption of new tools and best practices. Contribute to and lead design reviews, code reviews, and discussions on system architecture.

Requirements

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience programming in Python, Java, Go, or C++.
  • 5 years of experience in developing developer tools, automation frameworks, testing infrastructure, or CI/CD and release systems.
  • 3 years of experience with software design, development and architecture.
  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques to software engineering problems., * Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), and experience with platforms/tools like Gemini or other AI-driven development assistants.
