Job description
A client with Kforce is seeking an Interaction Designer II to join their team in Plano, TX., * Design end-to-end experiences for professional tax accountants across Expert Experiences and Accountant Suite surfaces, from concept through shipped, polished execution
- Translate complex, data-dense tax and practice-management workflows (multi-field forms, document review, multi-client navigation) into clear, efficient interfaces built for power users
- Partner with product management, engineering, and research to define problems, explore solutions, and validate designs with accountants and tax professionals
- Apply and contribute to shared design system patterns so experiences feel consistent across the Professional Tax and Accountant Suite portfolio
- Use prototyping and iterative testing to de-risk design decisions before development investment
- Present work clearly to cross-functional partners and incorporate feedback quickly in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Requirements
- Degree in Product Design, Psychology, Graphic Design or similar fields
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally on complex, professional, or B2B software (fintech, accounting, tax, or other data-dense workflow tools a plus)
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end interaction design, systems thinking, and craft/execution quality
- Comfortable designing for power users and workflows, including dense data, multi-panel layouts, and complex task flows
- Skilled in Figma, AI prototyping tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) and familiar with working within and contributing to a component-based design system
- A collaborative communicator who can work independently, take ambiguous problems, and drive them to a clear, shippable solution
- Curiosity about the accounting and tax domain, or eagerness to learn it quickly
- High bar to sweat the details and keen on visual design
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience designing for accountants, tax professionals, or other regulated/compliance-heavy workflows
- Experience designing AI-assisted or AI-augmented product experiences

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
