Job description

You will report directly to our Sr. Director, IT and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F, * Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their order management processes, challenges, and requirements.

  • Solution Design: Design SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP BRIM solutions for order management processes, considering industry best practices and business needs.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP Order Management module according to business requirements, including pricing, availability, order types, delivery, and billing.
  • Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP Order Management and other SAP modules (such as Sales, Logistics, Finance) and external systems. Experience with SAP integrations, including IDocs, APIs, and other relevant technologies.
  • EDI Proficiency: Creating functional specifications, EDI mapping documents, and data conversion rules. Designing, developing, and implementing EDI solutions for sales and distribution processes. Configure and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within SAP Sales & Distribution for seamless business document exchange.
  • Testing: Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the configured solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users on new processes and functionalities. Create documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Order Management solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP Order Management, leveraging new features and functionalities of SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery., The Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell is a division focused on corporate-level functions and initiatives that support the overall operations and strategy of the company. It is responsible for overseeing areas such as finance, legal, human resources, communications, and corporate governance, working closely with other business units and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization. The CORP SBG plays a crucial role in the overall strategic direction and management of Honeywell’s corporate functions and operations, supporting the company’s business objectives.

Requirements

We are seeking a proactive individual who is eager to exceed expectations and take on challenges beyond their designated responsibilities, * 10+ years) as an SAP consultant specializing in Order Management, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA and BRIM(SOM, CI).

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Order Management module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S/4 HANA implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations and system conversions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
