Job description

This is a full-time, onsite role for a mid-level IT support professional with strong hands-on experience supporting end users across Windows, Mac, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, VPN, PIV/RSA tokens, and collaboration tools.

Role Highlights:

  • Provide deskside, remote, phone, and automated IT support
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, VPN, mobile device, and peripheral issues
  • Support Microsoft AD environments, Windows/Mac OS, Zoom, MS Teams, VOIP/Jabber, and approved COTS/GOTS applications
  • Escalate complex incidents to Tier 3 SMEs and support security remediation activities
  • Assist with device configuration, patching, imaging, inventory, and vulnerability remediation

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * 5+ years of desktop support or similar IT support experience

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience supporting federal, healthcare, NIH, or government environments is a plus
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL v4, MCDST, or Windows 11 Enterprise Desktop Support Technician

Benefits & conditions

$30 - $35 an hour - Full-time, Contract
