Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Developer with strong expertise in Oracle databases, complex SQL, PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, data modeling, ETL, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, database-driven applications, data visualization tools, and enterprise development environments., * Design, develop, maintain, and support Oracle database solutions and database-driven reporting initiatives.

Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and other database objects.
Perform SQL and database performance tuning for large and complex datasets.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex DML, DDL, logical, and functional coding issues.
Develop and maintain data models while ensuring data quality, validation, and referential integrity.
Support ETL processes involving data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Utilize version control and CI/CD tools to support database development and deployment.
Document database designs, system architecture, workflows, and technical solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Oracle Database development.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL, including complex queries and database objects.
Extensive experience with SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
Strong understanding of DBMS, relational database design, and data modeling.
Experience working with large-scale datasets.
Knowledge of DML, DDL, debugging, troubleshooting, and database manipulation.
Experience with data validation, quality assurance, and referential integrity.
Working knowledge of ETL concepts and tools such as Informatica or Pentaho.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
Experience using database development tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer, or SQL Navigator.
Knowledge of database security and role-based access controls.
Understanding of UML and system documentation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Experience in Healthcare, Integrated Eligibility, or Government/Public Sector environments.
Experience supporting programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or other healthcare/social services systems.
Experience developing reports and data submissions for federal or regulatory agencies.
Oracle certifications are preferred.
