Job description

As a Data Engineer within a Fintech company, you’ll be responsible designing and maintaining scalable data infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting next-generation AI applications. You’ll work with modern cloud technologies in a collaborative engineering environment where innovation and continuous learning are encouraged.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Develop and optimize cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms.
Integrate data from APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and streaming sources.
Design reliable and scalable data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
Implement best practices for data quality, governance, monitoring, and orchestration.
Build and maintain robust data infrastructure that supports AI and machine learning initiatives.
Contribute to cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

2-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
Experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
Hands-on experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Microsoft Fabric, or similar modern data platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of Apache Spark and modern data platform architectures.
Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Fluent in English.
