Are you an experienced Data Engineer ready to help shape and scale a modern data ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabric, Azure and advanced analytics platforms? We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead to help build and scale a modern data ecosystem for one of Belgium’s leading healthcare organizations. What you’ll be doing Designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines and integrations Developing scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions Implementing data quality, monitoring and observability practices Supporting BI, Analytics and Data Science teams with trusted datasets Driving data engineering standards, best practices and architecture decisions Coaching and mentoring teams while contributing to the long-term data roadmap What we’re looking for 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer Strong SQL and Python expertise Experience with Spark, HIVE or similar Big Data technologies Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services and/or AWS Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory or equivalent platforms Experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data architectures Understanding of Data Quality, CI/CD and DevOps principles for data platforms English proficiency (mandatory) Dutch and/or French is considered a strong asset Nice to have: Databricks Power BI Data Vault & Dimensional Modelling (Star Schema) Data Governance & Data Contracts
