Design, develop, and maintain API Gateway solutions using Kong.
Implement and manage APIs and microservices using Python and Java technologies.
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Kong API Gateway in enterprise environments.
Perform API Gateway migration activities, including migration to Kong platform.
Develop scalable and secure microservices-based applications.
Integrate APIs with backend systems and third-party services.
Monitor API performance, security, and reliability.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps, and business teams for end-to-end implementation.
Ensure adherence to API governance, security standards, and best practices.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced API Gateway / Kong Developer with strong expertise in Python, Java, and API Management technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway, microservices architecture, and API migration projects. Experience in Kong migration is highly preferred., * Strong experience in Python and Java development.

Hands-on expertise with Kong API Gateway.
Experience in API Management and Microservices Architecture.
Knowledge of REST APIs, API security, OAuth, JWT, and authentication mechanisms.
Experience with API Gateway configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Exposure to containerization and cloud environments is a plus.
Experience in Kong migration projects is highly preferred.
Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
