Senior Software Integration Engineer

The employer is a fast-growing technology company specialising in the warehouse automation and robotics industry, developing advanced solutions that automate order fulfilment and transform logistics operations. They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join their team. This position is well-suited to a technically curious, analytical and collaborative person who is looking to work at the intersection of software, automation and logistics while taking ownership of complex system integration projects. This position is based within the Software / Integration Engineering team and will work closely with software developers, automation engineers, project teams and customers. You will analyse integration requirements, define and implement interfaces between different software systems, and ensure successful integration and deployment of solutions within automated warehouse environments. Responsibilities: Analyse functional and technical requirements for software integration projects. Design and implement interfaces between warehouse automation software and third-party systems such as WMS/WCS. Define technical and functional specifications for software integrations. Coordinate with software development teams to deliver integration solutions. Perform integration testing, troubleshooting and system validation. Investigate and resolve complex software and integration issues. Support the deployment and commissioning of solutions at customer sites. Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Strong professional experience in software integration, systems integration or a closely related engineering role. Experience working with APIs, software interfaces and distributed systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with databases, SQL and/or software development environments. Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Previous experience in warehouse automation, robotics, intralogistics or logistics software would be highly advantageous. Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
