Job description

Use Claude Code as part of your day-to-day development workflow
Own features through design, build, test, deployment and operation
Write clean, secure and maintainable production code
Apply TDD and automated testing
Work with modern CI/CD processes
Collaborate with the Principal Engineer, Architect and wider Agile team
Work to strong standards around security, data privacy and change control

Requirements

Strong commercial C# and .NET backend experience
Experience designing and developing REST APIs
Hands-on experience using Claude Code for software development
Strong TDD / automated testing experience
Good knowledge of CI/CD
Strong software engineering and architecture fundamentals
Experience working within Agile development teams

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE…

Experience within a UKGC-regulated or similarly regulated environment
Azure or AWS experience
Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI or similar AI tooling, KEY SKILLS: C# / .NET / Claude Code / Agentic AI / REST APIs / TDD / Automated Testing / CI/CD / Backend Engineering / Agile / Contract / Outside IR35
