Working closely with the Engineering Leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend services and APIs that underpin a new platform., * Designing and developing .NET Core services and APIs

• Building abstraction layers between front-end applications and search technologies
• Developing API services
• Working with Azure cloud services
• Designing and maintaining SQL databases
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders and engineers to refine requirements
• Contributing to architecture and technical decision making
• Producing clean, scalable and maintainable code

This role requires an experienced contractor who can quickly understand requirements, make sound technical decisions, and independently deliver high-quality solutions., * Strong commercial experience with .NET Core

• Experience working with Azure
• Strong SQL/database development experience
• REST API design and development experience
• Experience building scalable backend systems
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver with limited oversight
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Typically 6-10+ years software engineering experience
