Software Architect

• Refine existing implementations of our C-UAS software systems
• Support and define the strategic direction and architectures to fulfil future challenges in the solution space
• Carry out SI Enterprise Architecture design
• Identify software solutions and architectures

• Visual Studio, We are partnering directly with hackajob to hire a C-UAS Software Architect for our Mission Systems C-UAS team. Our world-leading C-UAS systems help address an increasing global threat, and our teams work alongside international government agencies to help ensure national security. This is a permanent hybrid role based primarily in Basildon, with flexibility to work from home when on-site work is not required. • Extensive background in the development of complex software systems
• Strong awareness of software development technologies
• Significant experience in the specification and development of Sensor/Effector systems, including C2/GUI aspects
• Experience considering Human Factors is highly beneficial
• Significant experience and knowledge of interfacing software systems to achieve integrated capability and data sharing
• Ability to work alongside Solution Architects and provide expertise that helps shape overall system architectures
• Experience developing white papers to shape and steer thinking within the stakeholder community
• Experience working within the defence industry is essential
• Experience using tools such as Visual Studio (C#/C++), DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody and The Mathworks is desirable
• Must be eligible for full security clearance
