Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the nuclear energy sector for a Business Change Lead to ensure that organisational, process, people, and behavioural changes required by an IT transformation programme are successfully adopted and embedded into business-as-usual operations. Working alongside Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Process Leads, Solution Architects, and functional SMEs, this role provides leadership across change management, communications, stakeholder engagement, organisational readiness, training, and business adoption activities. The role acts as the bridge between technology delivery teams and business stakeholders, ensuring new capabilities are understood, accepted, and effectively utilised across the organisation. Based at any UK client location with flexible working options. BPSS security clearance required (DBS check included as part of offer process)
What you’ll do
- Lead the development and execution of change management strategies and plans
- Produce and maintain change artefacts including: Change Management Strategy, Stakeholder Analysis & Engagement Plan, Communications Strategy, Change Impact Assessments, Organisational Readiness Assessments, Training Strategy & Materials, Business Adoption Dashboard, Benefits Realisation Framework, Deployment & Transition Plan, Change Risk Register, and Hypercare & Business Support Plan
- Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority to build commitment and drive behavioural change
- Facilitate workshops and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure change readiness
- Establish and operate Change Champion and Business Change Networks
- Ensure successful transition of new processes and capabilities into BAU operations
- Monitor and report on business adoption, utilisation targets, and benefits realisation
- Identify and mitigate change-related risks and resistance
- Ensure change management activities are delivered within programme governance, quality, and schedule parameters
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering business change within large-scale IT, ERP, HR, Finance, Procurement, or Digital Transformation programmes
- Demonstrable experience leading organisational change in complex, multi-functional environments
- Experience working on programmes involving SAP, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft, or similar enterprise platforms
- Experience of change impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, and training delivery
- Strong understanding of programme governance and benefits realisation
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
- Strong presentation and storytelling capability
- Desirable: Prosci, APMG Change Management, MSP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification; experience supporting global or multi-site deployments; operating model and organisational design experience
