Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer. This role is Remote. Summary: We are seeking a Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer to provide hands-on engineering and architectural leadership within an enterprise data and software engineering environment. This role is intended for a highly experienced engineer who can design solutions, influence technical direction, and work hands-on with Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Python, TypeScript, and API integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong Palantir Foundry experience combined with broader architecture and software engineering expertise. Experience with Palantir security concepts and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions are critical. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical and architectural leadership for Palantir Foundry solutions
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise data and software solutions
  • Lead hands-on development within the Palantir Foundry platform
  • Develop solutions using Python, TypeScript, Databricks, AWS, and modern application frameworks
  • Design and implement REST APIs and enterprise integrations
  • Apply Palantir security concepts and enterprise security best practices
  • Evaluate technical approaches and make recommendations regarding architecture and technology
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, data professionals, and business stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive solutions across multiple systems and platforms
  • Help establish development patterns and best practices for a modern enterprise data environment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software/data engineering experience
  • 5+ years of Databricks experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience
  • Senior or architect-level experience designing enterprise technology solutions
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry security concepts
  • Strong Python development experience, including Python for data analysis
  • TypeScript development experience
  • Strong experience developing and integrating REST APIs
  • Experience with microservices and modern application frameworks
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Apache Hive

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
