Job description

The Manager, Enterprise Strategy will report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Strategy within the Corporate Strategy & Market Analytics organization, and will serve as a key analytical partner - leveraging the latest AI tools to conduct strategic research and synthesize data, and performing quantitative analyses to support high-priority strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, finance, economics, business, or a related field\n
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in corporate strategy & business development, market analyses, corporate finance, Strategy Consulting, or Investment Banking\n
  • Analytical Rigor: proven ability to perform complex quantitative analysis, handle large datasets, and maintain attention to detail in high-pressure situations\n
  • AI Proficiency: demonstrated aptitude for learning and applying new AI-powered tools (including AI-driven research agents, data synthesis and modeling) to accelerate and expand research and data analysis - while assessing the AI output and detecting and correcting where the models don’t perform\n
  • Advanced skills in financial/data modeling (in Microsoft Excel or other modeling tools), and storyboarding and slide creation (Microsoft PowerPoint)\n
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to synthesize a wide range of data points into clear, concise summaries\n
  • Collaboration: A proactive, team-oriented mindset\n
  • Organization: ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment\n
  • Growth Mindset: High intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to develop expertise in AI and the energy and power sectors\n, * Prior experience in the Technology or Energy/Power industries\n

  • Conduct market research and data gathering to support assessments of industry trends and potential disruptions\n
  • Support the execution of strategic workstreams by building models and frameworks to evaluate corporate-level opportunities or risks\n

  • Portfolio & M&A Strategy \n \n

  • Perform quantitative analyses to support portfolio assessments, including competitive benchmarking and performance assessments\n \n

  • Market Adjacency Analysis \n \n

  • Execute targeted research on adjacent markets (e.g., market sizing, growth rates, business model and profitability, and competitive mapping)\n
  • Maintain databases of ecosystem relationships and support the evaluation of ā€œbuild, buy, or partnerā€ options through comparative research.\n \n

  • Across these projects the Manager, Enterprise Strategy will: \n \n

  • Manage specific project workstreams and maintain project timelines under the guidance of the Senior Director\n
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members to collect necessary data and information\n

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
