Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Networking/fiber Project Manager for a top data center infrastructure client. This candidate will serve as the telecom design subject matter expert, supporting multiple data center locations while developing and standardizing telecommunications infrastructure designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OSP design, fiber pathway planning, conduit and duct systems, and low-voltage telecommunications infrastructure. This person will focus heavily on design strategy and standards development rather than construction fieldwork, helping ensure scalable, reliable telecom infrastructure while supporting tenant fiber deployments and ongoing data center expansion projects. The role is primarily remote with travel required for key project milestones, design reviews, and site coordination activities.

Requirements

3-5+ years experience in telecom project management

Telecom/data center design experience

Experience designing ISP/telecom infrastructure

Knowledge of fiber deployment standards and best practices

Experience with conduit, duct bank, and pathway design

Ability to develop telecom design standards and best practices

Experience supporting low-voltage telecommunications scope

Willingness to travel for design reviews and project page turns

Strong design-focused background
