Job description
Summit Technologies is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist to work out of our Hill Air Force Base location. The position supports our Mission Planning Software contract. The opportunity is challenging with great growth potential., The successful candidate will have superb attention to detail and an incredible appetite to learn a challenging, but rewarding career that supports our military. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and creating solutions to issues. With solid communication skills, the CM Specialist coordinates with internal and external teams regarding Mission Planning software releases. The position also post software development milestones and ships software.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Must have a Secret Clearance OR eligible to attain a security clearance.
- Requires excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
- Requires high aptitude to learn IT systems and very comfortable navigating a computer.
- Requires basic skills in MS Excel. MS Access a plus.
- Knowledge of USAF configuration management practices preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in handling and shipping classified materials a plus
