Job description
Would you like to join a talented group of people, doing challenging work, with the mission of “Keeping Our Heroes Connected”? You will be designing and building data processing pipelines in support of machine learning methods that require access to large RF datasets. Your work will directly impact our customers in the form of products and services that make use of signal processing technology. Unlike similar roles in the industry, the result of your work has the potential to impact the entire lifecycle of the workflows impacting people’s lives in moments that matter.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Address data security and availability of data as streams
- Manage the distribution of algorithms across cloud infrastructure
- Implement data science algorithms at scale with real-time performance benchmarking and iterative improvement
- Collaborate with designers to ensure responsive backend services
- Leverage leadership skills to develop reusable components and enable collaboration between research and production teams
Requirements
- 7+ years experience as a software engineer
- Expert knowledge in Python and NodeJS
- Experience with Linux, DevOps (command line)
- Experience with containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience managing projects with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tooling
- Experience with AWS cloud-based infrastructure
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with RF signal processing
- Strong mathematics background, particularly in linear algebra
- Familiarity with regulated environments, such as sovereign clouds, * Bachelors degree with 8+ years of software engineering experience
- AND 6+ years of Python and NodeJS experience
- AND 6+ years experience with Linux, DevOps (command line)
- AND 6+ years experience with containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
- AND 6+ years experience managing projects with Jira, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCatalyst, and/or GitHub Issues
- AND 6+ year experience with AWS cloud-based infrastructure
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
