Hybrid Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Serve as a key member of our client’s Security Operations team, supporting enterprise-wide security initiatives and maintaining a strong security posture across the organization. Manage and monitor Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel, to identify, investigate, and respond to security threats. Support and enhance Zero Trust security initiatives, with a focus on identity, access, and endpoint security. Administer and maintain Conditional Access policies and Identity & Access Management (IAM) controls within the Microsoft ecosystem. Provide security support and governance within a GCC High environment, ensuring compliance and secure operations. This person will act as a senior resource for the team by mentoring and guiding Level 1 and Level 2 security analysts. Partner with global stakeholders and security leadership to implement security best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Report directly to the Security leadership

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Security and the Microsoft security stack.

Experience administering and monitoring Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.

Deep understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) within Microsoft environments.

Experience managing Conditional Access policies and security controls.

Exposure to or experience working within a GCC High environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance. Experience supporting or implementing Zero Trust security frameworks.

PowerShell scripting experience for automation and administration.

Microsoft security certifications (Azure Security Engineer, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, etc.).

Previous experience mentoring, leading, or developing junior security professionals.

Experience working within a global enterprise environment.

Knowledge of security operations, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management best practices.
