Job description

You will be involved in the management and support of technical integration activities carried out by third-party services in the frame of Destination Earth (DestinE) initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work on various aspects of System Engineering, including service design, and with a focus on Identity and Access Management and Multi-tenant architecture concepts.

As Software Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and coordinating integration activities for Third Party Services, ensuring smooth and effective integration into our platform with the focus on the Identity and Access Management Service (Keycloak) and the Accounting component.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for external companies during the integration process, addressing their queries and providing necessary support.
  • Facilitating engagement meetings with new partners and stakeholders to foster strong collaborative relationships.
  • Supporting the integration of new services into our platform, acting as a technical facilitator between external companies and internal development teams.
  • Supporting corrective and evolutive maintenance activities related to Authentication and Authorization topics, assisting the follow-up of technical teams, performing troubleshooting, and solving problems handling technical analysis.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Technical Sciences or equivalent is required.
  • 2/3 years of working experience in relevant aspects.
  • Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization standard protocol (OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML).
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating System environment, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of code versioning and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, etc..).
  • English Level B2 (Upper-Intermediate), written and spoken.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Keycloak usage, configuration and customization.
  • Experience in Keycloak Authorization Services (User Managed Access).
  • Working experience with Programming languages (e.g. Python, etc.).
  • Working experience in containerized applications (e.g. Docker).
  • Knowledge of containers orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
  • Working experience with Cloud infrastructure and pipeline deployment.
  • Capability of reading/contributing to technical documentation (e.g., Procedures, Technical Notes, Interface Control Document, System Design Document).
  • Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats.
  • Knowledge of Destination Earth (DestinE) programme.
  • Critical thinking and self-organization skills.
