Job description

  • Act as a technical resource for cybersecurity compliance and incident response.
  • Support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes for NSWC PCD systems.
  • Maintain and update RMF packages in coordination with ISSOs and System Administrators.
  • Conduct Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) to ensure compliance with security controls.
  • Track and manage IAVA compliance and remediation processes in VRAM/CMRS.
  • Verify classified network connections and ensure they meet DoD and DoN security requirements.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide support for forensic analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with NMCI/NGEN Cybersecurity personnel to resolve security-related issues.

Requirements

AERMOR is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to ensure DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA cybersecurity compliance by managing risk assessments, security documentation, and incident response efforts. The role involves performing RMF compliance activities, maintaining cybersecurity documentation, and supporting security incident investigations. The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, is familiar with NIST standards, and has experience working with Navy eMASS, VRAM, and RMF A&A processes., * Must have SEC+ certification or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, RMF, and security compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of DoD RMF, eMASS, A&A processes, and security standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro.
  • Experience with security documentation, STIG compliance, and security assessments.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as ACAS, VRAM, and CMRS.
  • Understanding of cloud security, network defense, and vulnerability assessments
  • Experience working with Navy RMF and NAVSEA cybersecurity networks.
