Job description

Provide ongoing operational and technical support for the SailPoint IdentityIQ environment.

  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve application, connector, workflow, provisioning, and performance issues.

  • Maintain and enhance existing IdentityIQ configurations, integrations, rules, workflows, and business processes.

  • Work with business stakeholders, application owners, security teams, and technical resources to understand, identity and access management requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions within SailPoint IdentityIQ.

  • Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy new IdentityIQ capabilities.

  • Implement and maintain application integrations using standard connectors, custom connectors, APIs, database connections, and file based integrations.

  • Support identity aggregation, correlation, provisioning, deprovisioning, certification, access request, role management, and lifecycle management processes.

  • Develop and maintain IdentityIQ rules, workflows, forms, policies, reports, and scheduled tasks.

  • Support onboarding of new applications and data sources into IdentityIQ.

  • Troubleshoot access review, identity refresh, aggregation, provisioning, and reconciliation issues.

  • Maintain platform documentation, solution designs, operating procedures, and support documentation.

  • Coordinate testing, release, deployment, and production validation activities.

  • Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal support and engineering teams.

  • Recommend improvements that enhance platform stability, security, automation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

This is a senior, hands on engineering role. The selected contractor must be able to support the existing SailPoint IdentityIQ environment while independently designing and implementing new capabilities based on business priorities. The role requires a balance of production support, technical development, solution design, and stakeholder collaboration., * 5+ hands on experience supporting and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ.

  • Experience with IdentityIQ architecture, configuration, administration, and development.

  • Proficiency with Java, BeanShell, XML, SQL, REST APIs, and web services.

  • Experience developing and troubleshooting IdentityIQ rules, workflows, connectors, forms, and lifecycle events.

  • Experience with identity aggregation, account correlation, provisioning, access requests, certifications, roles, and policies.

  • Strong knowledge of identity governance and administration concepts and processes.

  • Experience integrating IdentityIQ with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, cloud services, and enterprise applications.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and working platform capabilities.

  • Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex technical issues.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with business and technical stakeholders. - SailPoint IdentityIQ certification or equivalent implementation experience.

  • Experience supporting IdentityIQ in a large or highly regulated enterprise environment.

  • Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.

  • Experience with PowerShell, Linux scripting, Git, and automated deployment processes.

  • Knowledge of privileged access management, segregation of duties, role based access control, and access governance frameworks.

  • Experience integrating SailPoint with ServiceNow, Active Directory, Entra ID, cloud platforms, or human resources systems.

  • Familiarity with identity governance controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
