Job description
- We manage the Global Implementation team and shape the process to establish a high-functioning, client-facing implementation team.
- We design and implement a common implementation framework that can be applied to any product or workstream.
- We own and manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and overall project ownership.
- We design and maintain a repeatable conversion and migration strategy.
- We manage system configuration of client UAT and production environments for new and software upgrade implementations.
- We work closely with our customers to manage client UAT and implementation programmes.
- We work with project managers to develop and test implementation run books.
- We facilitate end-user training on our software products.
- We provide go-live and post-implementation support.
- We proactively manage scope changes, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans using risk logs and change requests.
- We provide regularly scheduled updates to internal and external stakeholders and hold weekly project update meetings throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- We manage expectations for internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
- We serve as the first level of escalation for project-related risks and issues.
- We collaborate with product and technology teams to design and manage technical implementation aspects, including configuration, integration architecture, and data conversion and migration.
- We join specialists in the Sales team in workshops with clients to understand their technology landscape and design implementation plans.
- We lead the product owners and engineers to delivery.
Requirements
- We are looking for experience managing software implementation projects in a software or professional services company.
- We are looking for experience implementing new products while working closely with agile delivery teams and the client.
- We prefer experience implementing SaaS products.
- We prefer experience implementing and migrating financial systems, such as transfer agency platforms and fund accounting platforms.
- We need the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requirements, deadlines, and projects.
- We need excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience using Microsoft Projects or other project management solutions is highly desirable.
- Moderate travel to client sites is required when necessary.
- We need deep knowledge of Lean and Agile software development processes.
- We value self-starters who can take the lead and work independently in a collaborative environment.
- We are looking for someone who raises risks and issues promptly with recommendations for mitigation.
- We need confident, accurate, deliberate, and direct communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
