Network Security Consultant (Remote) - Systems Integrator

The company is looking for a Network Security Consultant to join its growing technical team, covering pre-sales, design, implementation, and support. The role focuses on Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls and is suited to someone with solid firewall experience who is keen to develop their skills and career in network security, with certifications and training fully funded. • Design and implement Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall solutions across complex enterprise environments (60% of the role)
• Provide 3rd line escalation support across the security estate (20%)
• Support pre-sales engagements, technical scoping, customer conversations, and solution positioning (10%)
• Produce high-quality technical designs and documentation to support delivery
• Travel to customer sites across the UK when projects and engagements require it
• Fortinet, FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer
• Palo Alto, NGFW, Panorama
• Network Security, firewall policy, VPN, segmentation, zero trust

• Solid Fortinet firewall background, FortiGate design, implementation, and support in enterprise environments
• Palo Alto experience, NGFW configuration and management, Panorama a strong plus
• Strong network security fundamentals, firewall policy, VPN, segmentation, and threat management
• Someone on the way up, strong foundations, driven to develop, and ready to take on more responsibility
• Comfortable working independently and remotely, you manage your own time and deliver without hand-holding
• Confident enough to support pre-sales conversations and customer-facing engagements
• Fortinet NSE or Palo Alto PCNSE certifications beneficial, any held will be built on, all training and certs funded going forward
