Job description

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality native Android applications, working closely with product, design, Back End and engineering teams., * Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.

Build modern interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
Integrate applications with REST APIs and Back End services.
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
Troubleshoot performance, stability and application issues.
Participate in code reviews and Agile delivery.
Support CI/CD and application releases.

Essential Experience

Strong commercial Android development experience.
Excellent Kotlin and Android SDK knowledge.
Jetpack Compose.
MVVM/Clean Architecture.
REST APIs and JSON.
Coroutines/Flow.
Hilt/Dagger dependency injection.
Unit and UI testing.
Git/version control.

Requirements

Firebase, Retrofit/OkHttp and Room.
CI/CD and Gradle.
Google Play Console experience.
Mobile security and authentication experience.
Experience working within Agile development teams.
Experience within the insurance sector or a similar regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
