Job description

Lead and coordinate BAU support activities across SQL and data integration platforms.
Investigate and resolve complex incidents involving SQL Server, SSIS, ETL processes and data issues.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
Develop, optimise and troubleshoot complex T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions and SQL Agent jobs.
Design, develop and support SSIS 2019 packages and ETL workflows.
Troubleshoot data loads involving CSV, Excel and SQL Server data sources.
Diagnose performance issues, package failures and scheduling problems.
Support deployments and releases across DEV, UAT and PROD environments.
Manage incidents, defects and enhancements through JIRA.
Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks in Confluence.
Work closely with Production support teams and technical/business stakeholders.

Requirements

The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on SQL Server 2019 and SSIS 2019 expertise with proven experience in BAU support, incident management, troubleshooting and production support coordination., * Advanced SQL Server 2019

Incident, Problem & Change Management

Desirable

Banking/Financial Services experience
Markets, Trade Control or regulated enterprise experience
Release and deployment coordination experience
Experience improving BAU processes through automation and monitoring
