Are you an experienced Application Support Analyst with strong SQL skills and experience supporting applications, integrations and data flows within a Microsoft/Azure environment?
Would you like to join a major UK financial services organisation where you’ll support business-critical applications used across Investment Management, Operations, Risk, Finance and Compliance, while gaining exposure to technologies including SQL Server, Azure Integration Services, Power Platform, Snowflake, APIs and Microsoft Dynamics?, This is a hands-on technical support role where you’ll investigate complex production issues, analyse application and data flows, troubleshoot integrations and work closely with business users, developers and third-party technology providers to identify root causes and deliver effective resolutions. You’ll work directly with users across the investment management business, helping to ensure critical systems and integrations remain stable, available and performing effectively.

- Managing and troubleshooting application configurations and workflows
- Supporting releases, application updates, patches and production changes
- Working closely with internal Development and Infrastructure teams

Experience within any of the following would be particularly relevant:
| Wealth Management | Investment Management | Asset Management | Investment Platforms | Financial Advice | Private Banking |
Experience supporting Iress, XPLAN or similar financial services applications would also be advantageous, but is not essential. About You

We’re looking for someone who can:
- Analyse complex application and data flows
- Investigate problems methodically and identify root causes
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Take ownership of incidents through to resolution
- Work effectively with developers, business users and external vendors
- Prioritise multiple production issues in a fast-moving environment

An ITIL qualification or strong practical knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Problem and Change Management would be beneficial. Why Consider This Opportunity?
About the company
This is an opportunity to join a sizeable and established UK financial services organisation with a sophisticated technology environment and significant ongoing investment in its systems and digital capabilities.
Rather than providing narrow application support, you’ll gain exposure to a broad technology estate spanning cloud applications, databases, integrations, APIs, data platforms and business-critical investment systems.
You’ll also work directly with stakeholders across the organisation, including Investment Management, Operations, Risk, Finance and Compliance, giving you excellent visibility of how technology supports a modern wealth and investment management business.
