SAP Business Analyst (MM & PM & FICO Integration) - 6 months - Outside IR35

My client is looking for a seasoned SAP Business Analyst with strong functional expertise across SAP MM and PM, alongside a good understanding of FICO integration.

This is not a pure FICO role. The ideal candidate will be able to walk into a manufacturing environment, understand what is happening operationally on the ground, and translate those business processes into effective SAP solutions to the business.

They will need to be comfortable working across business and technical teams, understanding the end-to-end impact of processes spanning Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Finance and Controlling.

Deliverable’s:

• Ensure the business is maximising value from SAP MM, PM and FICO, identifying opportunities to improve processes, integration, data quality and operational efficiency, while ensuring SAP functionality is aligned to the real-world needs of the business and plant environment.
• Working with plant and operational stakeholders to establish a clear, practical view of how processes operate on the ground.
• Identifying process gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the existing SAP landscape.
• Mapping end-to-end processes and integration points between MM, PM and FICO.

• 10 -15+ years’ experience working as an SAP Business Analyst/Functional Consultant.
• Strong functional expertise across SAP MM and SAP PM/EAM.
• Good understanding of SAP FICO and the integration points with MM and PM.
• Proven experience working within manufacturing, chemicals, heavy industry or other asset-intensive environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across procurement, materials, inventory, maintenance and associated financial processes.
• Proven ability to engage directly with business stakeholders and operational teams to understand requirements and pain points.
• Strong SAP Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience working across complex SAP landscapes and understanding cross-functional impacts between MM, PM and FICO.
• Ideally, experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate comfortably between plant/operational teams and SAP/IT functions.
