Senior SAP Functional Consultant (PPM/PS, PM/MM)

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Consultant to join our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team, supporting a major enterprise client.

This is a hands-on functional role for someone with strong experience across either SAP PPM/PS or SAP PM/MM. You’ll work across functional configuration, production support, enhancements and project delivery, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams within an ITIL-managed services environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide functional support across 1, including incidents, service requests and enhancements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP functional solutions.
• Configure, test and deploy SAP changes within your relevant functional area.
• Support Unit Testing, SIT and UAT activities.
• Investigate production issues, troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with ABAP, Basis and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and recommend improvements.
• Produce functional specifications and documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3+ years’ commercial SAP functional experience supporting or implementing SAP ECC.
• Strong functional and configuration experience in either:
• SAP PPM/PS - Portfolio & Project Management / Project Systems; or
• SAP PM/MM - Plant Maintenance / Materials Management.
• Strong understanding of the relevant end-to-end business processes associated with your SAP modules.
• Experience gathering requirements, completing functional configuration and supporting solution delivery.
• Strong experience across testing, production support, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Experience working within an ITIL-managed services environment.
• Experience working alongside ABAP developers, Basis and other SAP functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.

Highly regarded

• SAP S/4HANA exposure.
• Utilities or Energy sector experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira or similar ITSM tools.
• Experience supporting business-critical production environments.
• Integration experience across other SAP modules and third-party systems.
