Job description

Develop responsive, accessible, and high-quality interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
Build and manage back-end services and APIs using Python and FastAPI/Flask.
Develop APIs based on modern indexes such as Elasticsearch.
Collaborate with design and product teams to create intuitive user experiences.

Fullstack, We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain scalable web applications and platforms in a mixed cloud environment across Azure and AWS. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. The position is based in our Exeter office with 1 to 2 days per week on site and the remaining days remote. We are an agency and/or employment business, and we will contact selected candidates within 14 days of interview selection.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
Strong knowledge of back-end technologies, including Python, Node.js, and Next.js.
Familiarity with databases and search indexes, including Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with PyGeoAPI.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Currently eligible to work in the UK.
