Key Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience supporting large-scale enterprise and data centre network environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across L2-L7 networking, including BGP, OSPF, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI administration, operations, and fault analysis.
  • Strong experience supporting Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall environments.
  • Experience with MPLS, SD-WAN, hybrid WAN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and cloud connectivity.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure networking within hybrid environments.
  • Experience leading incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles including segmentation and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills within complex production environments.
  • Hands-on automation experience using Python, Ansible, APIs, or Infrastructure Automation tooling.

Nice to Have

  • Financial Services or other highly regulated industry experience.
  • Experience supporting low-latency, high-availability production environments
  • Experience supporting network transformation, migration, or modernisation initiatives.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in fast-paced production environments, resolving complex network incidents, supporting critical infrastructure services, and driving operational stability throughout a major network and infrastructure transformation programme.
