Job description

Position is responsible for supporting Undergraduate Admission as well as key admission stakeholders across campus with insuring efficient and effective implementation and maintenance of Slate CRM functionality. Act as key liaison across functional users as well as IT staff to develop CRM best practice solutions. Operational support includes review and prioritizing requests for modifications/enhancements, maintaining key functionality/workflow, developing training documentation and security within Slate CRM., * Operational Support - Implementation of Slate CRM solutions to improve business processes and fulfill strategic goals of Undergraduate Admissions departments; business requirements gathering/documentation and process design to evaluate requests for new functionality and modifications to existing functionality, troubleshoot and resolve issues and escalate issues when needed by submitting services requests for Slate CRM. Maintain required setup for Slate for yearly recruiting cycles and coordinate setup with external vendors. Support integration of admissions application materials thru University imaging systems; other projects as assigned by Director of Operations.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting - Data quality assurance thru regular audits to ensure data integrity. Extract data from various sources including Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Slate CRM systems for auditing data integration. Support all Undergraduate Admissions departments as well as other departments across the university with Slate CRM query and reporting needs.
  • Training - Responsible for training all Undergrad Admissions recruiting and operations staff on Slate CRM. Develop and maintain training and business process documentation for all Slate CRM functionality.
  • Security - Fulfill security requests for Slate CRM for all Undergraduate Admissions staff. Develop annual security audit reviews.

Requirements

Bachelor’s is required.

A minimum of two (2) years of technical experience and general database concept knowledge is required. Experience working with Slate CRM is highly preferred and SQL experience is a plus. Experience working in Admission/Higher Education is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication and technical writing skills

Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Candidate familiarity with PeopleSoft, ORACLE, and cloud-based tools or closely related systems is a plus.

Candidate must have demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office functionality.

Candidate must be able to learn new software applications and demonstrate ability to access data and develop applications for data reporting.
