UI Developer

Insight Global is looking to hire a UI Developer for one of our large financial clients in Charlotte, NC. This candidate will design, develop, maintain and test software for the Enterprise Credit Risk team, collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in a dynamic Agile environment. Ability to achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications is needed. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and talent for creating solid, reliable web-based platforms. This role is ideal for someone who has experience solving complex problems and works both independently and collaboratively to build next generation risk reporting solutions.

• Design and develop high-quality web applications using Node.js and React.js.
• Implement responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Proven experience as an Angular, Node.js React Developer.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Strong working knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with SQL, Java and Hadoop
• Understanding of design principles and user experience (UX) design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
