Technology Manager (UI/Angular)

Insight Global is seeking a Technology Manager for a top financial services client. This candidate will provide technical leadership and people leadership for a team delivering enterprise-scale digital applications. The ideal candidate comes from a strong UI/front-end development background with deep expertise in Angular and a solid foundation in Java development. While the role is primarily focused on leadership, strategy, and technical oversight rather than hands-on coding, the individual must possess strong technical acumen and be capable of driving architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and influencing best practices across the organization. 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on UI/front-end development (Angular)

Prior experience leading development teams, technical leads, or engineering organizations

Deep expertise with Angular and modern front-end application architecture

Strong understanding of Java and enterprise-level application development

Ability to lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural decisions

Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience working in Agile environments

Ability to remain technically credible despite limited day-to-day coding responsibilities Banking or financial services experience

Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Microservices architecture experience

CI/CD and DevOps exposure

Experience modernizing legacy applications

Knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks

Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
