Remote Senior Data Engineer - LATAM

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support and scale a rapidly growing customer analytics platform. Following the addition of a new Chief Marketing Officer focused on customer loyalty, personalization, and engagement, the organization has made significant investments in its data ecosystem, including the development of a modern data warehouse and implementation of a customer identity enrichment solution.

This individual will play a critical role in accelerating data platform initiatives, enhancing data infrastructure, and ensuring operational resiliency within a lean analytics team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep experience designing scalable data solutions, building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and partnering directly with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role

Experience in a Microsoft environment

Strong experience designing and supporting modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions

Advanced SQL development and performance tuning expertise

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design, development, and optimization

Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data architecture best practices

Experience integrating APIs and external data sources into enterprise data platforms

Experience working within cloud environments and modern data ecosystems

Strong documentation skills and ability to create maintainable technical artifacts

Proven ability to collaborate directly with business, analytics, and marketing stakeholders

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience with Microsoft Fabric

Experience supporting customer analytics, customer insights, or CRM initiatives

Background working with loyalty programs and customer engagement data

Exposure to Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) analysis and related datasets

Experience supporting marketing analytics and campaign measurement initiatives

Industry experience within retail, restaurant, hospitality, consumer products, or other customer-focused organizations

Experience working within fast-paced, growing analytics organizations
