Job description
- Administer, maintain, and secure Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE databases to ensure system availability and data integrity.
- Execute disaster recovery, performance tuning, index maintenance, and continuous data monitoring.
- Evaluate database management system products and support prototype data modeling implementations., * Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of enterprise databases across multiple platforms.
- Establish and maintain database user accounts and permission structures.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to guarantee database security and compliance.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE database and application servers.
- Perform routine performance analysis, tuning, index maintenance, and backup and recovery operations.
- Organize and structure data to enable efficient querying and storage mechanisms.
- Perform database and software life-cycle activities to satisfy business and technical requirements.
- Support data modeling initiatives through the design and deployment of prototype database structures.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 5+ years
- Total Compensation: $235k+ yearly (tentative)
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph
