Job description
- Administer, maintain, and secure enterprise database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.
- Perform proactive performance tuning, index maintenance, disaster recovery, and data modeling prototypes.
- Ensure high availability, data integrity, and compliance across complex database environments., * Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of multiple relational databases.
- Perform Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase database and application server administration.
- Execute performance analysis, query optimization, index maintenance, and comprehensive disaster recovery procedures.
- Establish and manage database user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Conduct database and software lifecycle activities to meet operational availability and performance requirements.
- Support data modeling activities through prototype database implementations and coordinate architecture updates.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging DBMS tools, strategies, and technologies.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 10+ years
- Total Compensation: $301k+ yearly (tentative)
- Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph
