Network Engineer

Plan, implement, and support network solutions between multiple platforms. Install and maintain local area network hardware and software. Troubleshoot network usage and computer peripherals and perform network modeling, analysis, and planning research. Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, Network software, applications software, and all Network configurations. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. The position is project-based due to the nature of the employer’s IT consulting services. Travel and/or relocation requirements vary depending on client assignments, project scope, and duration. Frequency of travel: Variable and cannot be expressed as a fixed annual percentage. Assignments may require on-site presence at a client’s location for extended periods, ranging from several months to multiple years. Once assigned to a specific project site, the candidate performs services at that single location for the duration of the project. Between projects, the position may be performed remotely and. Level I - JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related quantitative/analytical field.

Level II - JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related quantitative/analytical field; AND Two (2) years of experience in the offered position or related experience.

Level III - JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related quantitative/analytical field. Or in the alternative a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Applications, or related quantitative/analytical field of study. AND five (5) years of experience in the offered position or related experience.
