Ownership and configuration management of system CAD models in both development and production environments, maintaining accuracy of eBOM, product structure, and assembly configurations including Ursa Major designed and COTS components
-
Definition of clear communication process between design, manufacturing, and test operations to ensure consistent configuration management of products through all hardware stages supporting Test, Manufacturing, and Shipment of hardware

Incorporation of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback from the manufacturing team
-
Work with manufacturing team to ensure system model is sufficient to ensure accurate and up-to-date build Work Instructions

Consistent delivery of eBOM to the manufacturing team in intervals that best support development or production efforts based on engineering change

Development of Technical Data Packages for customer delivery

Develop and guide methodology of Digital Engineering and Model Based Engineering approaches
-
Management, constraining, and modeling support of assemblies consisting of multiple subassemblies, wiring harnesses, and ratification against customer mechanical interface control documents and requirements

Interfacing capability, and collaboration with engineering groups such as Systems Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Chief Engineering teams
Requirements
-
B.S. in Aerospace, Systems or Mechanical Engineering (or other related technical subject area)
-
3+ years experience with hardware-focused organizations, managing and maintaining large CAD assemblies
-
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001
-
Demonstrated organization skills
-
Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships
-
Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated ability to break down complex problems, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
Desired Experience
-
Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
-
Experience with MBSE and Cameo
-
Familiarity with government and DoD contracts and specifications
-
Technical knowledge of rocket motor components and processes
-
SRM or other propulsion system design, development, or testing
Benefits & conditions
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $109,000 - $126,700, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
Classification: Full-time Exempt
