Security Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Security Architect to join a major UK Government programme, supporting the delivery of secure technology across a range of high-profile projects.

This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can operate between security, architecture and delivery teams, taking complex security challenges and turning them into practical solutions that can be implemented.

You’ll be involved across the full life cycle of security activity, from understanding risks and requirements through to shaping technical solutions, providing assurance and supporting teams through delivery.

• Security architecture and technical design
• Experience with Secure-by-Design
• Cyber security risk and assurance
• Security controls and governance
• Cloud security across Azure and/or AWS
• Identity and access management
• Network and information security
• Security testing and vulnerability management
• Working with recognised cyber security standards and frameworks
• Providing security advice within complex programmes or organisations
• Experience working within Government/Public Sector environments is a requirement

You’ll need to be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining security risks clearly and helping delivery teams reach practical outcomes.
