Job description
ERP Automated is looking for a highly technical maintenance and reliability professional to help manufacturing customers modernize maintenance operations through better data, systems, processes, and technology.
This role sits at the intersection of maintenance reliability, engineering, data, and AI. You’ll work directly with manufacturing sites to organize and improve maintenance data, asset structures, spare parts, PM programs, work management processes, and maintenance systems while leveraging modern tools and AI to move faster and work smarter.
We are looking for someone who understands how maintenance actually works in a plant environment and can apply lessons learned across multiple customers and industries.
What You’ll Do
- Help manufacturing customers improve maintenance and reliability processes, systems, and data
- Modernize asset hierarchies, BOMs, spare parts, PM programs, work orders, and maintenance master data
- Use technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, accelerate data collection, organization, and analysis
- Analyze maintenance data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Work with customer maintenance, storeroom, engineering, operations, and reliability teams
- Translate plant-floor maintenance knowledge into scalable best practices that can be applied across customers
- Support CMMS/EAM implementations and optimization projects
- Develop creative ways to connect, clean, structure, and improve maintenance data
Requirements
Do you have experience in Manufacturing maintenance?, * Real plant experience in manufacturing, industrial, food & beverage, chemicals, pulp & paper, metals, power generation, or similar environments
- Background in maintenance, reliability, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or maintenance systems
- Strong understanding of common plant equipment and systems:
- Pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, utilities, electrical systems, instrumentation, etc.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems
- Highly technical and naturally curious
- Comfortable using modern tools, data, and AI to solve problems and improve efficiency
- Strong Excel/data skills and ability to organize messy information
- Able to work independently and think critically
- Strong communication skills and comfortable working directly with customers
Bonus Points
- Experience with maintenance planning/scheduling, reliability engineering, RCM, PM optimization, spare parts, or storeroom management
- Experience with ERP/CMMS systems (Dynamics 365 Asset Management, SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, Avantis, Limble, Fiix, etc.)
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, automation platforms, scripting, or technical data tools
- Mechanical engineering background or hands-on technician experience
