Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform, with expertise in building, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
Build and support cloud platform services and reusable infrastructure components.
Work closely with DevOps, Software Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.
Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, reliability, and performance.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud platform issues.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery of cloud environments.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expert-level experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with GCP services such as:
Compute Engine
GKE
Cloud Storage
VPC
IAM
Cloud Functions
Cloud SQL
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Experience with Git and DevOps tools.
Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and observability.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
