Requirements

The candidate should have strong experience with GCP infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, cloud networking, security, automation, and platform engineering. This role requires someone who can work closely with architecture and engineering teams to build reliable, secure, and highly scalable cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable GCP cloud infrastructure and platform services. Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices. Build and manage GCP services including GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run. Develop reusable Terraform modules and establish infrastructure standards. Manage GCP networking, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, load balancers, VPNs, and private connectivity. Implement cloud security, IAM, service accounts, policies, and secrets management. Support and manage Kubernetes/GKE environments. Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and platform observability. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance issues. Collaborate with software engineers, architects, security, and data teams. Establish best practices around cloud governance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform/Infrastructure Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with GCP. Strong hands-on experience with Terraform. Experience with GKE / Kubernetes. Strong understanding of GCP networking and IAM. Experience developing reusable Terraform modules. Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build. Experience with Docker and containerized applications. Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar. Experience with Git and source-control practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
