Job description

North America Semi Service Business Planning delivers the strategic insights and operational excellencerequiredto scale Tesla’s Semi service network.You’lldirectly support semi service center expansion, technician capacity planning, and customer support growth across Tesla’s Semi business. You will work closely with Service Operations, Field Leadership, Customer Support, and Regional Managers to optimize service delivery and network performance. Your analysis will inform critical decisions on where to open service centers, how to staff efficiently, and how to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will need to stay focused on aligning company priorities with day-to-day service operations while building capabilities for rapid network expansion. What You’ll Do

  • Forecast service demand, technician capacity needs, and parts inventory requirements across existing and planned service locations
  • Track service center performance metrics (uptime, turnaround time, customer satisfaction, technicianutilization) and partner with operations leaders toidentifyimprovement opportunities
  • Build financial models and business cases to support service center expansion, equipment investments, and staffing decisions
  • Manage field feedback on service management systems and surface insights to business and IT teams for system enhancements
  • Prepare analysis and executive-ready content for leadership reviews and strategic planning sessions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in analytics, business planning, or operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, DataAnalytics, or equivalent
  • Advanced Excel skills (modeling, data processing, complex functions)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical mindset with ability to think creatively about business problems
  • Proficiencyin SQL, Python, or R for data analysis
  • Comfort with ambiguity, rapid change, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Passion for Tesla’s mission and genuine interest in the Semi service business
