Job description

The Senior Implementation Consultant will lead implementation projects for Veradigm DORN (Diagnostic Ordering and Results Network), a cloud-based platform that connects EHRs with laboratory and radiology partners through a single integration point. This individual will manage integrations from project kickoff through testing, certification, and go-live while serving as the primary liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings experience with healthcare integrations, HL7 messaging, APIs, stakeholder management, and technical project leadership. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong client-facing abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously., * 5+ years of healthcare IT implementation, integration, or technical project management experience

  • Hands-on HL7 messaging experience (orders and results)

  • Experience with API-based integrations

  • Experience working with EHR, EMR, laboratory, radiology, hospital, or health system platforms

  • Strong project management experience managing multiple concurrent projects

  • Client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience leading implementation projects from kickoff through go-live

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple internal and external stakeholders

Strong troubleshooting and implementation guidance experience - Veradigm, Practice Fusion, or related healthcare platform experience

  • LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics, or reference laboratory experience

  • Radiology or imaging workflow knowledge

  • EHR-to-lab or EHR-to-radiology migration experience

  • PMP or CAPM certification

  • Healthcare interoperability or interface engine experience

  • LIS (Laboratory Information System) experience

  • RIS (Radiology Information System) experience

  • Experience with Health Gorilla, Redox, or similar interoperability vendors

Previous experience working for an EHR vendor, laboratory, radiology organization, or health system

DORN operates on a hub-and-spoke model that enables healthcare organizations to connect once and gain access to a large network of laboratory and radiology partners instead of building and maintaining individual point-to-point HL7 interfaces. This role will help onboard new partners, support migration efforts, and drive successful implementations across the network.
