Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain software components and applications in accordance with system requirements and architectural guidelines.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and other software developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to verify software performance and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2-8 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in object-oriented programming language (C#).
- Experience with software design patterns and principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Unity 3D engine
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to maintain a security clearance (Active Secret or higher).
