Vendor Manager Opportunity - IT | $41.12-$49.36/hr

The Vendor Manager will support the City’s IT organization by coordinating vendor management activities throughout the complete vendor lifecycle. This includes vendor onboarding, governance, performance monitoring, risk and compliance activities, contract renewals, and offboarding. The Vendor Manager will work closely with IT leaders, service owners, vendors, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure vendor relationships are properly documented, monitored, and managed according to established policies and processes., Coordinate vendor onboarding, classification, governance, reviews, renewals, and offboarding activities. Serve as a central point of coordination between IT leaders, vendors, Procurement, Finance, and service owners. Maintain accurate vendor, contract, ownership, classification, and governance information. Coordinate periodic vendor performance reviews, including scorecards, review materials, meetings, and follow-up actions. Monitor vendor performance against contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and established expectations. Facilitate vendor performance meetings and track issues, corrective actions, commitments, and escalations. Coordinate vendor risk, compliance, accessibility, and other required assessments. Monitor contract milestones, renewal dates, and other important vendor lifecycle activities. Support contract and renewal decisions by gathering performance, financial, risk, utilization, and stakeholder information. Facilitate business alignment meetings, vendor service reviews, and governance meetings. Track vendor issues, risks, decisions, action items, and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain vendor management templates, procedures, dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. Analyze vendor management data to identify trends, gaps, upcoming obligations, compliance issues, and process improvement opportunities. Provide guidance to IT leaders and service owners regarding vendor management processes and responsibilities. Support the continued development and maturity of the IT Vendor Management program, including process improvement, reporting, automation, and data quality. Experience in IT vendor management, vendor governance, supplier management, contract management, or a related field. Strong experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational and project coordination skills. Strong understanding of vendor performance management, contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and renewals. Experience tracking risks, issues, action items, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare reports, dashboards, scorecards, and management presentations. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with IT leadership and business stakeholders. Preferred Experience Experience working with IT Procurement and Finance teams. Experience with IT vendor management policies and processes. Experience with vendor risk and compliance assessments.
