IT Field Technician

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on IT Consultant, Field Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems in the field, and learning how technology projects are executed from the ground up.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with experience in low-voltage cabling, technology installations, and general handyman/construction support who wants to grow within a fast-moving technology business.

You’ll work directly alongside team members to help execute projects across networking, AV, security, and infrastructure installations. The role is highly hands-on and requires someone comfortable working on-site, using tools, troubleshooting issues, and thinking critically about how technology should be deployed within a space.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end installation of networking, A/V, security, and technology systems across retail, office, hospitality, and experiential spaces
• Run and manage low-voltage cabling installations, including planning efficient cable routes and hardware placement
• Mount TVs, access points, cameras, racks, and other technology hardware
• Organize network racks and maintain clean cable management standards
• Support on-site troubleshooting, installation coordination, and project execution
• Safely and confidently use ladders, hand tools, and installation equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, vendors, and clients on-site

Do you have experience in Telecommunications low voltage systems?, * Experience with low-voltage cabling, fiber termination, and general handyman skills required.

• Experience with access control installations, electric strikes, and mag-locks required would be preferred but not required.
• General handyman, construction, or field installation experience required
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around cabling quality, organization, and clean installations
• Ability to think through installation logistics and problem-solve in real time on-site
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting quickly as project needs evolve
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and easy to work with
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-moving technology business, * Full time or Part-time role with flexible scheduling based on project needs and candidate availability.

$30 - $50 an hour - Temporary, Part-time, Full-time, Contract, * Compensation range: $30-$50/hour depending on experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
