Job description

Hemmersbach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients at their location, working with data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure., * Provide technical support onsite to our clients at their location, with a focus on data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for data centers, servers, and other peripherals
Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, switches, and storage systems
Participate in project rollouts and deployments, working with data centers and other enterprise-level IT infrastructure
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and equipment
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician, Server Technician, or similar role
Hands-on experience (or equivalent) in implementing and administrating MS technologies like Windows Server and Active Directory
Ability to work with limited oversite and direction across a variety of server, storage, and network hardware types
Experience working with enterprise-level IT infrastructure
Good monitoring skills, preferable experience (or equivalent) with PRTG
Strong knowledge of data center hardware and software, including servers, switches, and storage systems
Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
