Adobe InDesign Systems Engineering Customer Data Management Systems Integration Performance Monitor

Job description

Lead complex Stratospheric Balloon and Radar programs from early customer engagement through full execution and delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role with real technical influence - not just a scope-cost-schedule tracking position. You’ll shape customer requirements and technical approaches from concept through capture, proposal, and execution, guiding product architecture, technical roadmaps, and system integration decisions alongside highly technical engineering and operations teams. Why You’ll Love This Role You’ll serve as the primary technical and program interface between customers and internal leadership, working directly with U.S. Government customers, including DoD and Intelligence Community organizations. This role combines program leadership with genuine technical shaping - participating in design reviews, translating customer needs into system-level requirements, and identifying opportunities to expand existing programs and develop new applications. Relocation is paid, and the compensation package includes a generous 401(k). Your Day-to-Day

  • Own cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction for complex technical programs
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, contracts, supply chain, and business development
  • Shape technical solutions and requirements during concept, capture, proposal, and execution phases
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and engineering best practices
  • Coordinate long-lead procurement and supply-chain activities to support program delivery
  • Monitor program performance against cost and schedule baselines, driving corrective action as needed
  • Support business development, capture, and proposal efforts with technical and program expertise
  • Deliver program status reports, technical presentations, and customer-facing materials
  • Mentor less-experienced program managers and help establish program management best practices
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and technology forums, If leading advanced aerospace and radar programs from the ground up - with genuine influence over technical direction and customer strategy - sounds like the next step in your career, we’d like to talk. Great Bay Staffing represents candidates with complete confidentiality. Your resume will never be shared with a client without your knowledge and approval.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years leading technical programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering or systems-development programs
  • Strong systems engineering or technical background with credibility engaging engineering teams

Government & Acquisition Knowledge

  • Direct experience working with U.S. Government customers, particularly DoD or Intelligence Community
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Understanding of the U.S. Government acquisition lifecycle - requirements development, RFPs, source selection, contracting, and program execution
  • Experience with program financial management, forecasting, and performance reporting

Preferred

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • PMP certification
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams
  • Experience with aerospace, stratospheric balloon, radar, defense, or other advanced technology programs
  • Prior military or government experience

Benefits & conditions

Why Candidates Say Yes

  • Real influence over technical direction, customer strategy, and product roadmaps - not just program tracking
  • Direct, trusted-advisor relationships with U.S. Government customers on advanced aerospace and radar solutions
  • A highly visible, cross-functional role spanning technical leadership, customer engagement, and business development
  • Paid relocation and strong total compensation, including a generous 401(k)
